ICON Y TYPE PNEUMATICALLY ACTUATED JACKETED FLUSH BOTTOM VALVE

Pneumatic cylinders are used to automate the working of the ICON Y Type Jacketed Tank Valve. Liquid & Slurry can be drained off remotely and with minimum labor from the tank, reactor or vessel.

ICON make “Y” type jacketed flush bottom valves are also available with pneumatic actuation. We use pneumatic cylinders or diaphragm actuators for a linear actuation of jacketed flush bottom valves. As a standard industry practice, for open into the tank, i.e., disc rising type flush bottom valves, diaphragm type actuators are preferred, while for open into valves, i.e. disc lowering type flush bottom valves, cylinder type actuators are preferred as higher stroke length is required for these types of valves. With these actuators, the working of the ICON Y type jacketed flush bottom valves is automated thus allowing the liquid &slurry to be drained off remotely and with minimum labor.
